Protect Ravenshead

Ravenshead Parish Council is pleased to be working with a local resident who has put together this website. Whilst we are happy to support the site, it is not ours.

Please read and object to the 920 houses that Gedling Borough Council wish to impose on our village.

Working together as a community we can fight to stop this.

Paper copies of the objection letter are still available from the Leisure Centre.

Livestock Worrying

Take the lead, protect livestock. Respect the countryside. Keep your dog on a lead.

Even the most well-behaved dogs may instinctively chase livestock, especially at this time of year. It's usually excitment rather than aggression, but it can still severely distress ewes and lead to exhaustion, shock, abortion, or even death.
